This architectural interiors project involved the creation of a new sales center for the client's operations in the historical District of Bastakia in Bur Dubai. The design resolution proposed a simple, large glass cube that totally enclosed the courtyard and unified the existing structures without disturbing the adjacent historical facades.

Sensitive to local environmental constrains and traditions, Arabic frit patterns were added to the glass to reduce solar heat gain and glare. The final interior effect is modern, environmentally effective and highly reflective of local Arabic context.
